What is m.FEMA.gov?
m.FEMA.gov is a website designed for smartphones and contains a smaller amount of information then the regular FEMA.gov site. The information is focused on assisting the public before, during, and after a disaster and answers the question: “How can I find assistance?” and “What should I do in a disaster?”
Can I apply for FEMA assistance using my smartphone?
Yes, you can apply Online using most smartphone devices on the www.disasterassistance.gov website.
If your web enabled device does not work you can call 1-800-621-3362 to apply for assistance.
Can I check the status of my application using my smartphone?
At this time you cannot check the status of your application or create an account using your smartphone. These features will be offered in future phases of development.

Why are some web pages difficult for me to view on my phone?
FEMA has customized the web pages on m.FEMA.gov and www.disasterassistance.gov so that they can be more easily accessed by the most common smartphones. In some cases, the links on the website point to external sites that are not managed by FEMA. Wherever possible, we have tried to provide access to information that is easily accessible. Some external sites may not be available to some users.
